Birds, and waterfowl in particular, have long been believed to carry the soul when it leaves the body. In Egyptian creation myth, they have birthed the cosmos through the hatching of a cosmic egg. They represent both the beginning and end, the cycle of the soul.

Since time immemorial, birds have served as inspiration and guidance for the human spirit. They are intermediaries between heaven and earth, the unseen and the seen.

As a person deeply connected to waterfowl, the constellation Cygnus - the swan - has held particular significance for me, but I am far from alone in feeling a connection to it.

The appearance of the Cygnus in the sky signals the turning of the seasons, just as migratory geese have signaled the return of the growing seasons throughout millennia for indigenous people.

The duality that the celestial swan carries- heaven and earth, growth and dormancy, ending and births - is a beautiful analogy to the journey we embark on to rediscover our true essence, using human design as a roadmap and EFT (tapping) to access the subconscious.
